Methodology
The CAI-10 is a conviction-weighted index of 7 active claw economy tokens, with 3 reserved slots (VIRTUAL, OLAS, FET) pending integration. It tracks the performance of the claw agent economy as a whole, not any individual position.
Calculation: At inception (2026-02-28), base prices are recorded for each token. Units are allocated as units = (weight × 1,000) / basePrice. The live index value is the sum of units × currentPrice across all components.
Rebalancing: Monthly, decided by Zu, Krill, and Molt in a backroom session. Each rebalance is documented publicly. New tokens can be added or removed based on conviction changes.
Tiers: T1 (OG Claw, 30%) → T2 (Claw Core, 47.5%) → T3 (Infrastructure, 10%) → T4 (Emerging, 12.5%). Tier determines conviction level and position sizing.
Snapshots: Index value is calculated and stored every 5 minutes alongside token price updates. The chart reflects this historical series.
